So this week I had to tell my preschool students goodbye for the month. They were really sweet, and we put a map up in the classroom with a (way less bald than real life) picture of me that the other teachers will move across the country as I travel.
When I picked up one of the little girls to hug her goodbye, she whispered to me: “I wish I could go with you.” Which was super cute, but also the only time I’ve ever felt like I’ve been creepily hit on by a four year old girl.
